We are looking for experienced Technical Purchasing and Logistics Specialist to join our Technical Purchasing and Logistics Department located at Antalya Airport.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aviation Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the aviation industry or a minimum of 5 years in other related industries within technical supply chain (experience in supply and logistics processes is required);
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (TOEFL or IELTS scores are advantageous);
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP software;
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including day, late, and night shifts;
• No military service obligations for male candidates;
• Residency in or willingness to relocate to Antalya;
• A solutions-oriented, problem-solving, and stress-resistant personality;
• Excellent problem-solving and planning skills, with the ability to make operational decisions under high pressure;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a results-oriented approach;
• Team player with strong organizational and planning abilities;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Description:

• Conduct all technical purchasing activities in accordance with technical purchasing procedures, to represent technical purchasing function, coordinating and determining what needs to be done within the department;
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and instructions within the scope of Quality and Environmental Management, contributing to its continuous improvement;
• Develop cost-saving projects, follow up with relevant teams, and carry out necessary actions to complete these projects;
• Conduct and evaluate market research for technical purchasing in domestic and foreign markets, considering the company's Quality, Finance, Engineering, and Operational requirements;
• Negotiate and finalize agreements with suppliers;
• Efficiently planning material requisitions, considering due dates and destinations;
• Keep records of supplier certifications required for approval and Maintain an up-to-date list of material and service suppliers;
• Gather necessary information about materials, manage the Request for Quotations (RFQ) process, provide required specifications and documents and enter quotes into the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system;
• Monitor the status of unserviceable components for warranty claims and send unserviceable components to approved MROs and due/unserviceable tools to calibration shops;
• Monitor the status of orders and update procurement data (such as invoice numbers, AWB info, supplier evaluations, etc.) in the ERP software and perform scrapping procedures;
• Organize and follow up on logistics for parts under your responsibility, recording related transactions;
• Evaluate suppliers and enter evaluation results into the ERP software for each item in related orders;
• Check and approve invoices for related orders;
• Coordinate wet-lease operations and organize necessary actions for parts delivery;
• Training and mentoring the Technical Purchasing and Logistics Officers;
• Perform Technical Purchasing and Logistics Officer duties where necessary and perform tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
