At Gokkusagi Schools – ANKARA (Alacaatli) andİZMİR (Cigli) campuses, for the academic year 2024-2025, we are looking for  GERMAN LANGUAGE TEACHERS who are passionate about the German language and culture and who are able to share that passion with students. The ideal candidates will have a strong command of the German language and be able to effectively communicate with students of all levels. They will be responsible for planning and teaching German classes, as well as developing curriculum and assessment tools. The German teachers will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment in the classroom.

Duties and Responsibilities

·      Develop and deliver enagaging German language lessons to students

• Plan, prepare, an execute German language leraning activities in line with curriculum requirements
  

·      Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their language skills,

·      Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and development

·      Stay abreast of new developments in the field of German language teaching

·      Attend Professional development workshops and conferences to enhance their teaching skills

·      Develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues

·      Participate in extracurricular activities related to German language and culture

·      Serve as a mentor to new German teachers

·      Collaborate with other members of the language department to develop innovative teaching methods

·      Organize cultural events and trips for students

Required Skills and Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in German, education or related field

       Fluency in German

·      Experience teaching German to students is a plus

·      Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop lesson plans

·      Strong classroom management skills

·      Ability to use technology in the classroom
