MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically, MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore, we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment's performance and ensures its ease of operation in our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition, we have designed our organization to deliver successfully and on-time-demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally, MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic system design.
• Experience with similar gravity-driven processes (such as aquariums or fish farms).
• Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic Products Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for candidates with a Master’s degree in these fields.
• Experience in performing hydraulic calculations for gravity-driven and pressurized piping systems (determining pipe diameters according to relevant flow rates, identifying pump operating points, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent command of English both verbal and written.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Plant3D and Revit programs.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Experience in performing hydraulic analyses using the Pipeflow Expert program is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performing mass-balance calculations for systems and creating PDF and P&ID documents.
• Conducting heating/cooling calculations for the system and selecting relevant heating/cooling equipment.
• Preparing process descriptions, system descriptions, and automation scenarios documents in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Performing hydraulic analyses for systems, determining the diameters of both gravity-driven and pressurized piping systems, and making technical selections for valves, pumps, and other pipeline equipment.
• Determining hydraulic profiles for gravity-driven systems through hydraulic analysis.
• Preparing 2D and 3D equipment layouts in AutoCAD, Plant3D or Revit based on the calculations.
• Creating 3D piping models and 2D manufacturing drawings based on the calculations.
• Generating pipe, fittings, and in-line equipment quantities from the created 3D models using relevant programs.
