Job Description:

As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and security of our Core Banking systems. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, analyze, and test the various components of our Core Banking systems, identifying and addressing issues to enhance the overall customer experience. This position is full-time and fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our projects from the comfort of your own location.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

·       Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.

·       Validate Core Banking processes, transactions, and user interfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.

·       Monitor and report issues, defects, and anomalies, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.

·       Document test results, create test reports, and maintain thorough records of test cases and procedures.

·       Assist in the implementation of best practices for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

·       Min 3 years of experience in Banking systems

·       Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Core Banking systems.

·       Strong understanding of banking and payment processes.

·       Knowledge of testing tools and methodologies, including test automation.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

·       Certification in QA or related field is a plus.

·       Knowledge of SQL is a plus.

·       Experience with agile development practices and Scrum.

·       Experience in one of the following domains: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, POS Management, Retail Loans, Retail Mortgage, Payment systems, Customer, Account or Treasury products.
